WELCOME,
I'M RENIA

I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse (RN). I have provided care to birthing parents  and newborns: during pregnancy, in labor and delivery, in the newborn nursery and postpartum for years. 

​

My own struggles to provide human milk via breastfeeding to my first child opened my eyes further to the struggles that feeding parents face. My thirst for learning coupled with my unwavering desire to ensure the utmost level of care for the families with which I work lead me on my journey to become an IBCLC.

I will forever be thankful for the impact Renia has had on my life and my children’s’ lives. I had not worked with an IBCLC with my oldest and was able to nurse her for 19.5 months, but when I found out that my second pregnancy was twins I wanted support, and I certainly found that with Renia. She is extremely knowledgeable, but is also fantastic at listening to what the parents want/need and creating a plan specifically for them. With her support, I went from nursing one twin and pumping for the other for 7 weeks (until we got oral ties corrected), to exclusively tandem nursing them until 15.5 months. I even could have gone longer but I was able to wean at a time that was right for me. Now, I am a gestational carrier and reached out to Renia again for support in pumping for this baby, and once again she listened to what I wanted and helped me create a plan that would work for me. She is so caring and is truly an amazing person who is able to make you feel comfortable with any questions you might have for her. If I were to need IBCLC services again, or if I knew anyone who needed them, Renia will always be the first person I think of!

BOOKING A VISIT

SECURING A VISIT IS EASY!

Here are some of our safety precautions:

​

  • Wash hands regularly 

  • Wear clothing/scrubs exclusive to your home visit

  • Use EPA approved disinfectant to disinfect computer, scale, consult bag and all other equipment used between visits

  • Our consultants are happy to wear a surgical mask, upon your request, for duration of consultation

​

Note: For the health and safety of all clients with whom we meet, we always inquire, during scheduling, as to how everyone in the household is currently feeling, health wise.

  • When they are ready to redeem, they will reach out to us and we will assist them with scheduling.

 

Please note that if your loved one has Aetna, my 1:1  services are typically covered. Gift certificates may be applied to the virtual prenatal classes.
